Five steps from signing up to finding out. Only the last one involves anyone else knowing anything.

Sign up with your college email
Only addresses shaped like firstname.mitblr2026@learner.manipal.edu can hold an account. That is checked on the server, not just in the form, so there is no way around it.

Open the link we email you
It works once and expires after 30 minutes. Opening it proves you actually read that inbox, which is the whole basis for letting you see other students. Requesting a new link kills the old one.

Your name has to match your email
Your address is built from your first name, so the name you appear under has to start the same way. Since a pick can be aimed at a name, this is what stops somebody signing up as you and collecting picks meant for you.

Pick your crush
Everyone at MIT Bengaluru is already on the student list, whether they use maheblr or not — so find them and tap once. There is nothing to spell and nothing to guess. They do not need an account for you to pick them; if they never make one, nothing happens and they are never contacted. You can pick anyone on the list; your own section is a filter, not a fence.

One pick a week
Your list of picks only grows; nothing is ever wiped. You can add one new person every seven days. That limit is also what stops anyone testing name after name to work out who likes them.

Wait
If they name you back — whenever that happens, this week or after they finally sign up in March — you both get an email at the same moment with each other's name and section. What happens next is entirely up to you two.
Everyone is already on the list
The student list is the college's own cohort roll, so your crush is on it whether or not they have ever heard of maheblr. Picking them does not tell them anything, add them to anything or email them. If they never sign up, nothing ever happens and they never learn a thing — and because everybody is listed, the list itself gives away nothing about who is using this.
