No. Unless they independently pick you, nothing happens at all — no notification, no hint, no "someone picked you" counter. A one-sided pick is stored so it can be matched later, and is never shown to anyone.

No. The single thing that ever gets revealed to a student is a mutual match, and it is revealed to both people at once.

Yes — the person who runs it. Picks are stored in a database, and whoever operates maheblr can read them, one-sided ones included. No other student can, and there is no way to request or be granted that access. If that is not a trade you want to make, do not pick anyone. We would rather say it plainly than let you assume otherwise.

Two reasons. It keeps a pick meaningful, and it is the safeguard against working out who likes you by picking people one at a time and watching for a match. Your picks accumulate — nothing is ever reset.

No. Un-picking and re-picking would be a way around the weekly limit, which is exactly what that limit exists to prevent. Pick someone you actually mean.

Yes — that is the point. Everybody at MIT Bengaluru is on the student list whether they use maheblr or not, so you can pick them either way. The pick is kept privately and waits. If they join and pick you back, you both find out. If they never join, nothing ever happens and they are never contacted.

maheblr matches between the two lists the college keeps, so you see everyone but can only pick from the other one. Your own list shows without a pick button.

Search their name, or open their section and scroll. The list is the college's own cohort roll, so it has everybody on it under the name the college has for them — there is nothing to spell and nothing to guess, and you cannot pick the wrong person by typing a name two people share.

The college list is a snapshot, so anyone who joined later is missing from it. Email your admission number, college email, full name and section to noreply@maheblr.fun and you will be added by hand. The admission number is only used to check you are really a student; it is not stored.

They cannot. Your college email is built from your first name, and we require the two to match exactly, at signup and any time you edit your profile. Where the college has given several people the same first name and told them apart with a number — aditya, aditya07, aditya13 — all of those are still Aditya, and none of them can sign up as anybody else. Somebody would need your actual inbox to appear under your name.

No. Nothing is shown, sent or counted when you sign up, however many picks were waiting. The only thing that ever reaches you is a mutual match — and that needs you to have named them too.

It is the only thing that proves you are actually at MIT Bengaluru. Since the roster shows real students by name and section, that proof has to come before you can see it.

No. You can log in with a link emailed to you every time. If you would rather not wait for an email, set a password in Settings once you are in and use that instead.

Your account goes, and with it every pick you made, every pick pointed at you, and every match. It is immediate and it cannot be undone. Your name stays on the student list, because that list is the college's roll of who studies here rather than a list of who uses maheblr — email noreply@maheblr.fun if you want it off there too.

No. maheblr is student-built and has nothing to do with Manipal Academy of Higher Education.

Not yet. MIT Bengaluru learner emails only for now — a small campus is what makes matches actually likely.
