Installing it
Android will warn you twice, because the file did not come from the Play Store. That warning is generic — it is the same one for every app installed this way — but it is doing its job, so here is exactly what to expect.

Tap the download button
Chrome will ask whether to keep the file. It is 400-odd kilobytes, so it lands almost immediately.

Open it from the notification
Or find it in Downloads. Android will say your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from Chrome.

Allow it, once
The switch it offers is for Chrome specifically, not for your phone in general, and you can turn it back off afterwards.

Tap Install, then Open
Play Protect may scan it first and say it was not recognised — that only means nobody has submitted it to Google, which nobody has.

Say yes to notifications
Asked on first launch. It is the only thing the app needs from your phone, and you can decide later in Settings instead.
What it actually is
This site, full-screen, under its own icon. There is no second version of maheblr inside it — it opens the real thing, so the app is never behind the website and there is never a feature that only one of them has. That is deliberate.
Notifications
When you match, and when somebody replies on Blind. They never contain the message or a name from Blind — only that there is something waiting, so nothing on your lock screen can be read over your shoulder.
No browser furniture
No address bar, no tabs, and it stays logged in — so it is not the thing you close by accident and have to find a login link for again.
One permission
Notifications, and nothing else. It cannot read your contacts, your photos or your location, because it is a web page and web pages cannot ask for those without you knowing.
It needs a connection
There is no offline mode. Opening it on no signal gets you the same nothing that opening the site would.
On an iPhone, or without the APK
Your browser can put maheblr on your home screen by itself, with no file to download and no warnings to click through. You get the same icon and the same full-screen site.
iPhone & iPad
In Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Notifications work from there on iOS 16.4 and later — but only once it has been added, which is Apple's rule rather than ours.
Android, without installing the APK
In Chrome, open the menu and tap Add to Home screen. Same icon, same notifications. The APK above is mainly the version that behaves like an app your phone knows about.
Turning notifications on
Each device decides for itself — turning them on in the app does not turn them on for your laptop. The switch is in Settings, on whichever one you are holding.
